Frequently asked questions

About Freight Forwarding on Travo.ng.

How much does freight forwarding to Nigeria cost?
Cost depends on weight and volume, the origin, the mode (sea vs air) and the duty on your goods. Sea freight is cheapest for bulky cargo; air suits urgent or high-value items. Send us your cargo details for a same-day quote with a landed-cost estimate including duty.
How long does shipping take?
Air freight is typically 3–7 days door to door; sea freight 4–8 weeks depending on the origin port and clearance. We give you a realistic timeline up front and update you at each milestone.
Can Travo handle customs clearance for me?
Yes. We classify your goods, estimate duty, prepare the documentation and clear at Apapa, Tin Can Island or the airport, then arrange delivery to your door.
What documents do I need to import into Nigeria?
Usually a Form M, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, and a PAAR/SONCAP where applicable. We tell you exactly what your specific shipment needs.
Do you ship personal effects as well as commercial cargo?
Yes — from a few boxes of personal items to full commercial containers. Consolidation lets smaller shipments share a container to cut cost.
