Proposed service — vote to shape it

Where should your American address be?

Our London address is live and flying parcels home every week. Now we're exploring the same for the United States — Amazon US, Walmart, Target, sneaker drops, wholesale sourcing — shipped to your door in Nigeria. This service doesn't exist yet. Before we build it, we want one thing from you: tell us where you'd want your US address to be.

The vote

Pick the location that works for you

Each city has a different superpower — big Nigerian communities, direct cargo lanes to Lagos, or tax-free shopping. Choose one, tell us what you'd ship, and send it in.

Why it's worth voting for

What an American address would unlock

The US is the world's biggest online market — and most of it won't ship to Nigeria, or charges more for shipping than the goods. A suite address fixes both.

🧍 For individuals & families

  • Shop US-only stores and prices — Amazon US, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Macy's — including deals that never reach international checkout
  • Sneakers & fashion drops that sell out before international shipping is even an option
  • Black Friday & Cyber Monday at real US prices, consolidated into one shipment home
  • Family in America can shop for you — they buy, ship to your suite, we fly it to your door
  • Electronics at US prices — often the cheapest in the world, with photo-verified arrival before anything flies

🏢 For businesses

  • Source inventory from US wholesalers — Amazon, eBay lots, liquidation and outlet stock your competitors can't reach
  • One consolidated import instead of five couriered parcels — one handling fee, serious per-unit savings
  • Receive samples fast from US suppliers before committing to bulk orders
  • A US presence on paper — an American address for correspondence, returns and supplier accounts
  • Same evidence culture as our UK service — photos, weights and approval before anything ships
If we build it

How it would work — proven on London first

Note the tense: this is the model our live UK service already runs. The US version would follow it exactly.

1

Get your suite

A personal suite number at the winning US city's address, used at any American checkout.

2

Receive & photograph

Every arrival logged, photographed and WhatsApp-alerted, with free storage while orders gather.

3

Consolidate & save

Many stores, one tightly-packed box — one handling fee, less volumetric weight.

4

Fly it home

Scheduled US → Lagos departures, tracked the whole way, naira pricing published before launch.

5

Door-to-door

Travo's own riders and vans finish the job, the way they already do for UK parcels.

Read this before you vote

Let's be clear: this doesn't exist yet.

We build services when real demand shows up — not the other way round. This page collects no money and makes no promises. Here's exactly what your vote does:

  • Decides the city — the winning location is where we'd open, because it's where you told us to
  • Decides whether we build at all — weak demand means we don't, and we'll have wasted nobody's money finding out
  • Puts you first in line — leave your name and you're on the first-access list if we launch
  • Costs you nothing — two minutes, no payment details, no obligation ever

About this proposal

Is this service live?
No. This is a demand survey for a service we're considering. Nothing is for sale on this page, and we won't take a naira from anyone unless and until the service actually launches with published pricing.
What happens with my vote?
Votes land with our operations team via WhatsApp. We're weighing location demand, what people want to ship, and how often — that data decides whether the numbers work and which city wins. If you leave your name, you join the first-access list.
Why these six locations?
They're where the case is strongest: Houston, Atlanta, Maryland/DC and Chicago host America's largest Nigerian communities; Atlanta adds direct Lagos flights; New York/New Jersey is the retail and cargo capital; and Delaware charges zero sales tax — the quiet superpower of US parcel forwarding. Somewhere better in mind? There's a write-in box.
What would pricing look like?
If built, it would follow the same transparent mechanism as our live UK service: per-parcel delivery acceptance, per-kg freight in naira with dollar equivalents, and one per-shipment handling fee that rewards consolidation. Full rates would be published before launch — no vote commits you to anything.
I run a business — can I talk to someone directly?
Yes — if you'd import US inventory regularly, message the team on WhatsApp with "US ADDRESS – BUSINESS" and what you'd source. High-volume interest genuinely moves this decision faster than anything else.

One vote. One American address.

Tell us where to build, and if enough of Nigeria agrees — we build it, and you're first through the door.
