ABC Transport Lagos 2026: Price List, Routes to Accra, Lomé and Cotonou, and Terminals

ABC Transport Plc is one of Nigeria’s oldest interstate bus operators, and it runs one of the few scheduled coach services from Lagos to Benin Republic, Togo and Ghana. This guide lists the fares we checked on ABC’s booking engine, where its Lagos terminals are, and how to book. Fares vary by date and season, so use the table as a guide and confirm before paying.

ABC Transport price list 2026 (from Lagos)

Two things stand out. First, the overnight Executive Express is much cheaper on the South-East and South-South routes, at ₦30,000 against ₦45,700–₦48,000 for the daytime Sprinter, but it takes longer. Second, the international fares are quoted in naira when you book from Lagos, so you do not need cedis or CFA francs to buy the ticket.

ABC Transport Lagos to Accra, Lomé and Cotonou

ABC’s international Sprinters leave Jibowu early in the morning. The search results showed a 6:00 am departure, while the departure board on the homepage lists 6:45 am for Accra, Cotonou and Lomé, so check the time on your ticket and arrive early for the border paperwork.

• Lagos to Cotonou: ₦85,000, about 5 hours scheduled. The Cotonou terminal is listed as Estelle, opposite the national stadium.
• Lagos to Lomé (Togo): ₦90,000, about 10 hours scheduled. The Lomé office is at 7 Rue Sylvanus Olympio, near the Total Plage station.
• Lagos to Accra (Ghana): ₦105,000, about 14 hours scheduled. ABC’s Accra terminal is at 75 Nsawam Road, R5 bus stop (Caprice), opposite Priceway Hotel, Avenor. A second Accra outlet is at Inno K Plaza on the Legon–Madina road.
• Accra to Lagos: ₦110,000 from Accra, 6:30 am departure.

The Ghana Immigration Service lists Nigeria among the ECOWAS countries that do not need a visa for Ghana. You still need a valid passport or ECOWAS travel document at every border on the way. ABC Transport terminals in Lagos

All the fares above were for departures from Jibowu. Other terminals may serve different routes and times, so pick your boarding point carefully when you book.

Bus types and discounts

• Sprinter Service: an air-conditioned Sprinter with 2+2 seating, used on the daytime and international departures.
• Executive Express: 2+2 seating, mostly on overnight departures, and cheaper per seat.
• Discounts: ABC says children under 12, students in the West African region and youth corpers get a rebate on tickets. It also runs NYSC camp routes.
• Loyalty: complete 10 trips in a year and the 11th is free, according to ABC.

How to book an ABC Transport ticket

1. Go to abctransport.com, choose your origin (for example Lagos Jibowu), destination and date, then search.
2. Pick a Sprinter or Executive Express departure and choose your seat.
3. Pay online and keep the ticket details. You can also buy at any terminal or call ABC on +234 813 986 2090.
4. Arrive at least an hour early for international trips so your documents can be checked before boarding.

ABC Logistics: sending parcels

ABC also runs a logistics arm, with cargo outlets in Ikeja and Ikorodu as well as its terminals. We did not find a parcel price list on its website, so expect charges to be quoted at the counter based on weight and destination. Lagos to Accra, Accra to Lagos and Cotonou: current checks

The September fares and departure times above are historical booking observations, not current ticket offers. Search the exact travel date and direction on ABC Transport’s official booking site and review the final terminal, class and fare. Border processing can affect arrival even when a published schedule gives a journey duration.

For Lagos to Ghana by road or Lagos to Accra by road, identify the passengers’ nationality, travel documents and transit countries when checking current entry requirements with the responsible immigration authorities. Do not assume an ECOWAS-related exemption removes document checks or applies to every traveller. Confirm what the operator needs before boarding; passenger and cargo documents are different.

Benin cargo: Benin City or Benin Republic?

Say which destination you mean. Benin City is in Edo State, Nigeria; Cotonou is in the Republic of Benin. A domestic waybill enquiry and an international cargo movement require different planning. Provide contents, quantity, value information requested for documentation, pickup address and final recipient. Ask which border, handling and delivery stages the quotation includes.
