Which Sokoto postal code should I use?
- Sending to an address in Sokoto city, area unknown: use 840001.
- You know the neighbourhood: use its code from the town table above, for example 840221 for Government House.
- Villages near the city: use 840101.
- Other towns such as Tambuwal, Illela or Wurno: use the LGA code. Where there is a range, the first code usually covers the LGA headquarters.
