How much does haulage cost in Nigeria?
There is no fixed national price list. Operators quote per trip based on the job. The most recent published benchmark we could find is from September 2025:

Why these are likely out of date: diesel is the largest running cost for trucks, and PM News reported on 5 September 2026 that retail diesel had jumped to about ₦2,000 to ₦2,020 per litre in Abuja, up from ₦1,700 to ₦1,800. One Nigerian heavy-truck rental listing (2024) estimated a 20–30 tonne truck uses 70 to 90 litres of diesel a day. What affects your haulage quote
- Distance and route: longer trips, bad roads and remote drop-offs cost more.
- Vehicle size and type: flatbeds, low-beds and refrigerated trucks cost more than standard bodies.
- Weight and volume: heavy or bulky loads may need a bigger truck.
