Safety while you wait
- Don’t smoke or allow naked flames near the vehicle while fuel is being poured.
- Switch off the engine and any generator before refuelling.
- Never store petrol in the car cabin or in unapproved containers such as water bottles.
- At night, wait in a safe, well-lit place if you can and share your location with someone you trust.
- Only pay through the app or to the vendor assigned to your order. Be wary of strangers offering black-market fuel at the roadside: it may be adulterated and damage your engine.
