Is there a direct flight from Lagos to Ebonyi?
Not at the moment. Chuba Okadigbo International Airport (also listed as Ebonyi State International Airport, ICAO code DNEB) sits on the Abakaliki–Afikpo road at Onueke. Its 3,100-metre runway recorded a first flight in April 2023, and United Nigeria Airlines began commercial Lagos flights there in June 2025.
By September 2026, however, Channels Television reported that the airport was operating only in limited capacity, with no commercial airline services. State officials said it was about 90% complete, that remedial work on water damage and vandalism was under way, and that commercial flights would resume once the NCAA issues its Aerodrome Certificate. No firm date was given.
