Current Nigerian suppliers offer CCS2 DC chargers across capacities ranging from approximately 20kW to more than 300kW, demonstrating how widely installation requirements can differ.

The vehicle itself also determines charging speed. Installing a high-output charger does not automatically mean every EV will accept that maximum power.

After the site assessment, the installer normally plans the electrical connection, protection system, charger foundation and parking arrangement.

Depending on the property, installation may involve trenching, armoured cable routing, distribution equipment, protective barriers and dedicated signage.
