Where to Find Airport Parking Near Lagos Airport

What Does Airport Parking Cost in Lagos?
Parking charges around Lagos airport depend on the facility, vehicle category, and duration of your stay.
Short-term parking is generally more suitable for passengers dropping someone off or waiting briefly.
Longer parking arrangements may be available, but travellers should confirm current rates directly with the facility before leaving their vehicles overnight.
Some parking locations calculate charges hourly, while others may offer longer-duration arrangements.
Always ask about additional charges before parking, particularly if your flight could be delayed.
How to Choose Secure Airport Parking Near Lagos Airport
Vehicle security should be a major consideration when choosing airport parking near Lagos airport.
A convenient location is helpful, but leaving your vehicle somewhere without proper supervision creates unnecessary risks.
Before parking, check for:
- Security personnel and controlled vehicle access.
- Adequate lighting around parking spaces.
- Clear parking tickets or payment receipts.
- CCTV surveillance where available.
- Rules covering overnight or extended parking.
Avoid leaving valuables, travel documents, or expensive electronics inside your vehicle.
If you’re travelling for several days, confirm whether the parking operator permits extended stays.
Avoiding Traffic When Driving to Lagos Airport
Traffic around Ikeja, Airport Road, and adjoining routes can affect your arrival time.
Passengers travelling from Lekki, Victoria Island, or Ajah should allow additional time, particularly during weekday rush hours.
Even travellers coming from Maryland, Oshodi, or Surulere may experience delays around major junctions.
For international flights, aim to arrive at least three hours before departure, subject to your airline’s instructions.
Remember that parking, unloading luggage, and reaching the check-in counter all require extra time.
