NG Eagle cargo has a published cargo sales offering that directs shippers to freight-forwarder and airline enquiry channels. The useful next step is to confirm the service for your route and load, then obtain acceptance instructions before bringing goods to the airport.
What the cargo sales page says
The official NG Eagle cargo page describes cargo services through accredited freight forwarders and lists Lagos and Abuja as main hubs. It provides marketing@ngeagle.com for cargo shipping and logistics enquiries, alongside contactcentre@ngeagle.com for shipment and billing questions.
Ask which accredited agent handles your origin and whether it can book the requested destination. The page’s station descriptions and aircraft information are not a substitute for confirmation of a specific departure.
How to book a cargo movement
- Send the route, date and commodity to the cargo team or approved forwarder.
- Provide package count, weights and final packed dimensions.
- Request written acceptance for the aircraft assigned to that service.
- Obtain the quote, booking reference and receiving-terminal instructions.
- Nominate the recipient and confirm destination release arrangements.
If you are unsure which forwarder is accredited, ask the airline to identify the appropriate channel. Confirm who issues the air waybill and who provides tracking and exception updates.
Aircraft-specific package limits matter
NG Eagle’s cargo page publishes different loading dimensions and piece weights for different aircraft types. Ask which limits apply to your actual flight. An aircraft listed on a webpage may not be the aircraft operating your booked sector.
Provide measurements after protective packaging is complete. A box that meets a weight limit may still fail the door or compartment dimensions. For an irregular load, submit photographs and ask whether repacking is required.
Rates and service scope
Ask whether the price uses actual or volumetric weight, what minimum charge applies and whether screening, handling or storage fees are extra. Establish whether your booking is airport-to-airport or includes collection and final delivery.
Disclose batteries, liquids and temperature-sensitive goods before acceptance. Agree the cargo cut-off separately from passenger check-in. Make sure the consignee understands collection hours, identification and any authorisation requirements.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book NG Eagle cargo using a passenger ticket?
Use the cargo sales or approved forwarder process for unaccompanied goods. Passenger reservations do not establish freight acceptance.
Are the published package limits guaranteed for my flight?
Confirm the aircraft and load restrictions for the booked departure. Route conditions and available hold capacity can also affect acceptance.
Turn your enquiry into a workable shipping plan
If you are a business shipping repeated loads, ask the cargo team how forwarder bookings, account arrangements and shipment acceptance work. Provide expected volumes but also give the dimensions and contents of the first consignment. An aircraft’s theoretical capacity does not establish the space available after passenger baggage and operational requirements. For each departure, confirm the accepted pieces and the destination release contact. Arrange a fallback for stock replenishment if part of the load must travel later than the rest.
Compare the complete quotation
Ask for the total payable for the same shipment and delivery endpoint. A lower flight charge can leave screening, storage, handling and road transport to be paid separately. Identify who will notify the receiver when the cargo is ready and who pays for a delay in collection. Keep written acceptance with the booking reference before releasing the goods.
For another published Nigerian cargo offer, see our Umza Air cargo booking guide and check its separate acceptance conditions.
How Travo can assist
For shipments moving within Nigeria, Travo offers local same-day delivery in supported cities and business delivery services for repeat orders. Ask about collection before airport handover and delivery after release. Businesses receiving stock can also use warehouse storage and fulfilment for inventory, picking, packing and distribution. Timing and coverage should be agreed for the actual addresses.
Request a shipment plan from Travo with your collection and delivery addresses, goods description, dimensions, weight and deadline. Ask which services are included, which need separate approval and what the delivery estimate depends on. This lets you coordinate the ground journey with the airline’s confirmed acceptance.
