Dubai remains one of the most popular international holiday destinations for Nigerians looking for luxury shopping, beautiful hotels, family entertainment, and memorable experiences. However, planning the trip involves more than booking a flight.
Finding suitable Dubai holiday packages from Nigeria can help travellers organise flights, accommodation, airport transfers, and sightseeing without unnecessary stress.
Whether you are travelling from Lagos or Abuja, Travo.ng can assist with travel bookings, hotel reservations, and transport arrangements to make your Dubai holiday easier to organise.
What Is Included in Dubai Holiday Packages from Nigeria?
Not every Dubai travel package offers the same services. Some cover only flights and accommodation, while others include airport transfers, tours, and additional travel arrangements.
A typical package may include:
- Return flights from Lagos or Abuja to Dubai
- Hotel accommodation for your preferred duration
- Airport pickup and drop-off arrangements
- Dubai city tours and sightseeing activities
- Desert safari experiences
- Travel planning and booking assistance
Before making payment, request a complete breakdown of the services included. Visa processing, tourism taxes, meals, and attraction tickets may attract additional charges.
How Much Should Nigerians Budget for a Dubai Holiday?
The total cost depends on your travel dates, airline, hotel category, and activities.
For a five-night holiday, a traveller should budget separately for flights, accommodation, visa requirements, meals, local transportation, and entertainment.
Flight prices can increase significantly during December, Easter, and other busy travel periods.
Hotels around Deira and Bur Dubai may offer more affordable accommodation than luxury properties in Downtown Dubai or Palm Jumeirah.
Travellers should also consider the exchange rate when planning their budget because most Dubai travel expenses are priced in UAE dirhams.
Travo.ng can help travellers compare booking arrangements based on their preferred dates and accommodation needs.
Choosing the Right Flight from Lagos or Abuja
Most Nigerian travellers begin their Dubai journey through Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos or Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
Flight options may involve direct services or connections through international hubs, depending on airline schedules and availability.
When comparing tickets, check baggage allowances, transit requirements, arrival times, and cancellation conditions.
A cheaper ticket with a long connection may not be worthwhile for someone travelling with children or planning a short holiday.
Where Should You Stay During Your Dubai Holiday?
Your hotel location can affect both transportation costs and sightseeing convenience.
Deira: Suitable for budget-conscious travellers interested in shopping and affordable accommodation.
Downtown Dubai: Convenient for visitors planning to explore Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, and nearby attractions.
Dubai Marina: Popular among couples and holidaymakers interested in waterfront restaurants and entertainment.
Palm Jumeirah: Better suited to travellers seeking luxury resorts and premium holiday experiences.
When arranging hotel reservations through Travo.ng, consider proximity to attractions, public transport, and your planned activities.
Check Your Visa Requirements Before Booking
Nigerian passport holders should confirm current UAE visa eligibility, documentation requirements, and entry conditions before paying for non-refundable travel arrangements.
Visa approval is not guaranteed, and requirements can change.
Your passport validity, accommodation details, return ticket, and supporting documents may affect your application.
Avoid assuming that purchasing a holiday package automatically guarantees entry into Dubai.
