For a XEJet cargo enquiry, the first step is to confirm that the airline can accept the goods you want to move. A passenger booking, baggage allowance or private charter offer does not automatically establish an unaccompanied freight service.

XEJet’s official website presents passenger travel and private charter services. Its official enquiry page provides a starting point for a direct request. The public passenger offer alone does not confirm a retail cargo product, a dedicated freighter or a cargo booking rate for your route.

How to make a XEJet cargo enquiry

Contact the airline through its official enquiry channel and state clearly that you are asking about freight. Explain whether the goods are travelling without a passenger, whether they are business equipment on an accompanied charter, or whether you need a dedicated flight. Ask which team can assess cargo acceptance rather than assuming the passenger reservation process applies.

Give the origin and destination, intended shipping date and delivery deadline. Include your flexibility on airports and timing. Where a road connection is necessary, calculate the full journey from collection to final delivery rather than relying only on flight time.

Shipment details the operator needs

  • Precise description of the goods and any commercial use.
  • Package count and the gross weight of each package.
  • Length, width and height of every piece, including its packaging.
  • Whether the load can be stacked, split or repacked.
  • Any batteries, liquids, chemicals, medicines or sensitive equipment.
  • Loading assistance, security or temperature requirements.
  • Sender and receiver details and the person responsible for collection.

Small urgent equipment may present a very different loading problem from a pallet or long industrial component. Aircraft doors, storage space, restraint arrangements and floor limits need assessment. Do not infer suitability from the size of a passenger cabin or a stated passenger baggage allowance.

Confirm the complete quotation

If the shipment is accepted, request a written offer covering the proposed flight, aircraft, operating company and cargo handling arrangements. Ask whether the quotation is airport-to-airport or includes road transport. Check screening, terminal handling, storage, customs clearance where relevant, positioning charges and any waiting or cancellation charges.

Verify the booking reference, authorised payment instructions and handover location using the airline’s official channel. An informal promise or an unverified payment account is insufficient to dispatch valuable goods.

When a freight alternative may be needed

If XEJet cannot accept the load, a freight forwarder can assess belly-hold cargo on another carrier or a dedicated cargo charter. The correct option depends on the shipment’s dimensions, urgency, route and special handling needs. Secure acceptance with the proposed operator before moving goods to the airport.

XEJet cargo questions

Can I book cargo through the passenger booking page?

Confirm the cargo process directly. A passenger reservation does not serve as cargo acceptance.

Does a private charter guarantee space for freight?

No. The operator must approve the goods, aircraft and loading plan, including any restrictions.

Are XEJet cargo rates available online?

A general passenger fare is not a freight rate. Request a shipment-specific quotation and compare the complete delivered cost.

Turn your enquiry into a workable shipping plan

If you need to move a small technical component with an engineer, include the component in the charter brief before obtaining a passenger quotation. Measurements, packaging and restricted contents can affect acceptance even when the aircraft has spare seats. If nobody accompanies it, ask whether an unaccompanied consignment can be considered and who handles receiving and collection. Specify the repair location’s opening hours and whether another arrival airport would work. This helps distinguish a feasible mission from a passenger itinerary that does not solve the delivery problem.

Compare the complete quotation

Ask for the total payable for the same shipment and delivery endpoint. A lower flight charge can leave screening, storage, handling and road transport to be paid separately. Check the quotation’s expiry date, payment currency and what happens if the flight changes. Identify who will notify the receiver when the cargo is ready and who pays for a delay in collection. Keep written acceptance with the booking reference before releasing the goods.

How Travo can assist

Travo’s haulage services can assess the road movement of bulky equipment, including the vehicle and loading support required. For goods entering Nigeria, our international shipping service offers freight coordination, customs support through licensed clearing partners and onward delivery. Agree how these ground arrangements connect with the operator’s charter plan and whether airport storage or a further transfer is needed.

Request a shipment plan from Travo with your collection and delivery addresses, goods description, dimensions, weight and deadline. Ask which services are included, which need separate approval and what the delivery estimate depends on. This lets you coordinate the ground journey with the airline’s confirmed acceptance.
