An earlier version of this article listed a Surulere mobile number and a general email address; we could not confirm either on any official Uber page, so we have removed them. If a website, social media account or WhatsApp contact claims to be “Uber Nigeria customer care” and asks you to pay money or share a code, treat it as a likely scam.

Is there an Uber office in Lagos?
Uber does not run a walk-in customer service desk for riders. What exists is the Greenlight Hub, a support centre for driver-partners. Uber’s Nigeria driver page says: “Enjoy personal support at an Uber Greenlight Hub in Lagos.”
When the hub opened in 2017, Vanguard reported that it was located at Maryland Mall in Maryland, Lagos, which is why so many people still search for an “Uber office in Maryland”. Uber’s current Nigeria pages do not print a street address. The reliable way to get the up-to-date location is to book an appointment in the Driver app: go to Help, choose “Book an in person appointment”, pick your issue and a time slot. For most rider problems the app is quicker than any office visit, because the support agent can see the trip, the route and the fare.
- Open the Uber app and tap Account, then Help.
- Choose the trip the problem relates to, or pick a general topic such as payments or your account.
- Select the option that matches your issue (overcharge, route problem, driver conduct, lost item and so on) and follow the prompts.
- Add clear details: time, pickup and drop-off points, and what happened. Screenshots of receipts help with fare disputes.
- Keep an eye on the Help inbox in the app for Uber’s reply.
If you cannot sign in to the app at all, use the Uber Help website from a browser and choose the account or sign-in topic.
