How to Check the NYSC Senate List
Prospective corps members can verify their details through the NYSC Senate List verification portal. You will generally need information such as your institution, matriculation number and other personal details requested on the portal.
If your name appears, you can proceed with the NYSC registration process when your batch’s registration window opens.
If your name does not appear, it does not necessarily mean you are ineligible for NYSC. Your institution may not have submitted or corrected its Senate/Academic Board list yet.
What If Your Name Is Not on the List?
If you cannot find your name, contact your school’s Students’ Affairs Division or NYSC mobilisation officer. The institution is responsible for submitting its approved graduate list to NYSC.
NYSC confirms that institutions submit their Senate/Academic Board approved results to the Corps Mobilisation Division for vetting and screening. (NYSC)
You should also check that your:
- Name is correctly spelled
- Matriculation number is correct
- Course information is accurate
- Graduation details are properly recorded
- JAMB details are correct where applicable
NYSC Senate List and Registration
Being on the Senate List is different from receiving your NYSC call-up letter. After the institution’s approved list has been processed, eligible prospective corps members can register online according to the official mobilisation timetable.
