Your green passport, without the green fever.
The portal that rejects you, the NIN that doesn't match, the office that wants one more document — most passport delays are process failures, not government ones. Travo handles the process: filed right first time, official fees paid at cost with receipts, biometrics booked, tracked to collection.
ℹ️ Travo is an independent application-assistance service and is not affiliated with the Nigeria Immigration Service. Passports are issued solely by NIS; biometric capture is done in person by the applicant, as the law requires.
✅ What Travo handles for you
- The application, filed right first time — portal registration, form completion, correct booklet and office selection
- NIN match check before submission — the #1 cause of rejections caught before it costs you weeks
- Official fee payment at cost — paid to NIS through official channels, receipt and payment slips shared with you
- Document pack compiled — your exact checklist prepared and verified before capture day
- Biometric appointment booked at your chosen office, with reminders — and an assistant to accompany you on the day if you want one
- Tracking to collection — we chase status so you don't, and arrange collection the moment it's ready
👤 What only you can do — by law
- Biometric capture in person — fingerprints and photo must be given by the applicant at the passport office; nobody can legally do this for you
- Be who your NIN says you are — your passport data is drawn from your NIN record, so it must be accurate (we'll check it with you first)
- Sign your own application — signatures and declarations are yours alone
Anyone promising a Nigerian passport with zero personal appearance is describing something that doesn't legally exist. We make your one required visit short, prepared and painless — that's the honest version of "stress-free."
Two numbers. Nothing hidden between them.
Official NIS fees (effective 1 September 2025, current in 2026) paid at cost with receipts — plus our fixed service fee for handling everything. That's the whole price.
Travo service fee: ₦30,000
Travo service fee: ₦60,000
Lost/damaged replacements and data changes may involve additional third-party costs (police report, court affidavit) — always itemised and receipted, never marked up. In the diaspora? Official fees are $150 / $230 via Nigerian missions — message the desk for guidance.
Documents by application type
🆕 New passport (adult, first time)
- National Identification Number (NIN) — mandatory; your passport data is drawn from your NIN record
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Local government identification / certificate of origin (required at many offices)
- Marriage certificate — if your current name differs from your birth documents
- Recent passport photograph (35×45mm, white background) for the online form
We verify all of it against your NIN before filing — mismatches fixed upfront cost days; discovered at the office, they cost months.
🔄 Renewal / reissue
- Your current (expired or expiring) passport — presented for cancellation at capture
- NIN — still mandatory for renewals
- Marriage certificate / court documents if any data has changed since issue
Renewals are the smoothest category — same portal flow, and with your documents right, capture day is one short visit.
🚨 Lost or damaged passport
- Police report stating the loss (we can handle the station run with you)
- Court affidavit of loss — arranged through our document services
- NIN and any copy/details of the lost passport
- Damaged passports: the damaged booklet itself, plus NIN
🧒 Minors (under 18)
- Child's birth certificate
- Child's NIN (yes, minors need one — we can help with enrolment)
- Letter of consent from parents/guardians
- Parents' data pages — passports or valid ID
- A parent/guardian accompanies the child to biometric capture
✏️ Data change / correction
- Court affidavit supporting the change (plus newspaper publication for name changes, where required)
- Marriage certificate for marital name changes
- Updated NIN record — the correction must be made on your NIN first, and we'll sequence that with you
- Current passport + supporting originals

We verify & file
NIN match checked, documents compiled, application filed correctly on the NIS portal.
Official fee paid
₦100,000 / ₦200,000 paid to NIS at cost — payment slip and receipt shared with you.
Your one visit
Biometrics at your booked slot, documents pre-checked, an assistant alongside if you want one.
Tracked to hand
We chase processing (typically 2–6 weeks after capture) and arrange collection the day it's ready.
What we will never sell you
The passport-office car park is full of promises. Here's our position, in writing:
- No "express fees." NIS publishes no official express service — anyone charging extra for faster processing is operating outside the system, and we won't.
- No skipping biometrics. A passport without your in-person capture doesn't legally exist. Anyone selling one is selling trouble.
- No inflated government fees. The official fee is public — ₦100,000 or ₦200,000 — and you'll see our receipt for exactly that.
